For the fastest turnaround of fingerprint results, it is imperative that companies sending in prints fill out the fingerprint cards completely and accurately.
All fingerprints sent to the LSPBSE must:
- Have an accompanying profile in the portal.
- Have the proper application complete in the portal.
- Have been paid for.
Below is an example of how a fingerprint card should be filled out.
Important! The driver’s license number goes in the “Miscellaneous No.” blank. Always include the state abbreviation with the driver’s license number.

Everything Should Be Done By The Time We Receive Fingerprint Cards
It takes extra time for agency staff to contact the company and get the proper information to put on the card or to handle cards that cannot be linked to a paid application.
All of this slows down background returns on guards and impedes the process for every other company whose fingerprints come in that day.
Therefore, to efficiently run prints, agency staff will no longer contact companies to gather information or attempt to collect payment.
Fingerprint cards will be returned, at the company’s cost, if they are not filled out accurately and are not connected to a paid application in the portal.Fingerprint cards will be returned, at the company’s cost, if they are not filled out accurately and are not connected to a paid application in the portal.
