The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) hosted the first ever International Private Security (Conference) Indaba on July 3rd and 4th 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The event was dedicated to exploring compliance within the private security industry, from a global perspective.
The conference was held at Emperors Palace, in Johannesburg. The Indaba included talks by keynote speakers such as current Minister of Police, Bheki Cele; PSIRA CEO, Manabela Chauke; and Fabian Blache III, the President of the International Association of Security & Investigative Regulators, and Executive Director of the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE). The event played host to captains of industry, researchers and government entities from first world countries and on the African diaspora.
