September 1 Update
State offices in EBR Parish are closed until Tuesday, September 7 but the LSBPSE staff are considered essential and are still working as they are able.
Staff is working as proficiently as they can to assist with Event Temp Registrations for out-of-state guards and companies. These are being processed, all day and into the late evening every day, despite setbacks.
Continue to check the website (lsbpse.com) for updates. You can still call (225-272-2310) and email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are having issues but please understand it may take us a minute to get back to you; however, know that we will respond as soon as we can.
If you need to assist guards or companies having trouble navigating the portal, direct them to the post How To Register & Renew Guards…. There is also a video tutorial on the portal’s main page (lsbpselicence.com).
Again, we thank you for your patience and understanding.
We are posting a revised memorandum on EVENT TEMP REGISTRATION to allow out-of-state guards/companies to work in Louisiana while we deal with Hurricane Ida and her aftermath.
