
The Board recently appointed Carl F. Saizan, Jr. as the new Executive Secretary for the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners.
Saizan is a retired Major with Louisiana State Police with over 37 years of law enforcement experience.
He finished his career with the state police as a Command Inspector for the Bureau of Investigations Division where he was responsible for the Statewide Special Victims Unit, Fusion Center Operations and Criminal Intelligence Unit, as well as the Technical Support Unit.
His experience also includes serving as the Platoon 1 SWAT Commander, Troop B Commander and Region 1 Patrol Major for Southeast Louisiana.
He served on the statewide Strategic Highway Safety Team for eight years.
He is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigations National Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in Emergency Management.
He has devoted most of his career to Public Safety and is now committed to bringing his expertise and leadership to serve the private security industry here in Louisiana.
