Fingerprint Fee Reduced to $48.00

EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1st 2016

This is a re-post from July 13, 2016:

In addition to not having to reproduce fingerprints on individuals who have already been printed for the LSBPSE after May 2011, the Federal cost to process fingerprints has been reduced by $2.75 cents.  This brings the total Fingerprint Fee from $50.75 to just:

$48.00

    1. You’re most welcome. We are going to assess everything in our processes from top to bottom and make needed changes. The fewer hassles there are for owners and management, means fewer hassles for employees.

  1. Next we need to work on a way to cross-reference applications so those seeking dual registry will not regret the process. I’m sure it can be done with some changes in the computer programs used and a tweek in the wording in the rules. It could be done and the Board could still collect the fees associated with each applicant.

    1. The way we plan to address this is by making the guard credential an actual license, then they only need “affiliate” with various companies to work with more than one professional security provider. There would be a nominal admin fee for our role in tracking those relationships.

  2. This is a great idea!!!

  3. Do I need to get my fingerprints done there or can I go to my local Sheriff’s Office and have them completed. I am assuming that we are using the blue application cards not the red criminal cards.
